Netflix is a streaming service that uses cookies to collect information about its users' browsing activities. The data usage settings of Netflix can be adjusted to reduce the amount of data consumed while watching TV shows or movies on the app. There are four data usage settings available: Low (up to 0.3 GB per hour), Medium (up to 0.7 GB per hour), High (up to 3 GB per hour for HD and up to 7 GB per hour for Ultra HD), and Auto (adjusts automatically to deliver the highest possible quality based on the internet connection speed). These settings can be changed for each profile on the account and also for mobile devices. Netflix offers four mobile data usage settings: Automatic, Wi-Fi Only, Save Data, and Maximum Data. The settings can be adjusted in the Netflix app by going to App Settings and selecting Cellular Data Usage.
